My friend threw a party on campus and we were all a little tipsy. A few hours in I realised all my friends, including the one who threw the party were gone. I was shocked and upset that they had just left without telling me, especially since I was really drunk. I messaged one of them and he apologized and said they left as a group and didn’t know where I was, but they could have messaged me. We ended up catching an uber home together and I asked if they were avoiding me and he seemed genuine and said they weren’t.

I’m not sure how to approach this. Their actions speak as though they don’t really care about me, but on the other hand I feel like I have a genuine connection with them and want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they might’ve just been drunk and forgot?

  1. I think you’re reading far too much into it. They were pissed and forgot you. Not great but also not a deal breaker.

  2. Definetly think you’re reading too much into it. They were all drunk as you said and with a group of people it’s easy to lose a couple during the night.

  3. It happens to me all the time .they just drunk and left . I can’t find them and back home alone .
It doesn’t bother me much as it just happens . It happens to my bf all the time too. He just laugh about it next day.
I would feel a bit of drama queen vibe if you make a big deal of it. You need a chill pill
