I (FtM pre-everything) just had sex for the first time. I peed afterwards, and it felt like a burning pain. (Is that norma?) Are there other steps I need to take to prevent UTIs or general infections? I apologize if I sound ignorant, but I really do want advice.

  2. Sometimes vigorous sex can irritate the urethra and cause burning afterward. Pee immediately after sex. Keep drinking plenty of fluids to help flush out any bacteria. If burning continues you’ll need to see a doctor.
