How much bigger would Gorillas be if they followed a daily weight lifting schedule, and took a bit more protein?

  2. Probably not as much as you think. The way our muscle development works is very different from a lot of animals. Ours responds to need because it’s constantly trying to lean out to avoid wasted calories, we’re optimized for efficiency that way. That’s why we start losing muscle as soon as we stop being active. Gorillas, and most primates for that matters aren’t set up that way. They may shrivel up when malnourished but they’ll generally build to most what they’re able to as long as they get enough food.

  3. Gorillas have big stomachs to break down plant matter. Not every being needs extra whey protein shakes..

  4. You mean give them a taste for meat and they learn they can get stronger from it?
