Met a someone new from my college orientation.

I (18M) met someone (??M) at my freshman college orientation two months ago. Since neither of us is amazingly social, we were paired together, and we actually got along decently. At my request, we swapped numbers. We have not texted each other at all and I want to start talking to him, seeing as he is new to my city and will be living here for the next 4 years.

He just gives me good vibes. 🙂

I live in a major US city, so the university we attend has around 50 class sections per course, so it’s unlikely that we will share that.

I want to hang out with him and get to know him better. That way, I can have an idea of if I actually want to be friends with him. What should I text him? Classes begin in 5 days.

(If it changes anything: I’m a shy extrovert and my friend seems social, but in a social outcast kinda way…? He barely talked to anyone else at the event.)
