My parents are very angry people. Especially my dad, he gets mad at the smallest problems. When he’s mad he screams at me and slams doors or breaks stuff. So when I was a kid I use to retaliate back and also get angry at him and slam doors and scream back and break their things, since they broke mine. Even now as an adult they still lose their temper around me and others so I do the same back to them. I scream at the top of my lungs, and storm out. They’re such terrible role models, because now when I’m angry, I also scream at people and slam doors and stuff because that’s what I learned from my parents, and now it’s permanently integrated into my brain. Did anyone else have this problem with angry parents.

  1. Remember that your actions are a choice, and emotions are under your control. It comes down to you to choose to control yourself.
