Recommendations of particular bars in Sydney to pick up women?

It seems dating apps are the thing now. Where can you actually walk up to a woman, introduce yourself and have conversation here in Sydney?

It seems everyone or most people are only out with their friends and dating inter racially here in Sydney is rare unlike in the US. Most couples/friendship groups seem to be of people within the same ethnicity? I thought Australia was a multi-cultural place haha.
