I’m on my 3rd pregnancy in 5 years, and started seeing a pelvic health physical therapist. She sent me an email with instructions for my exercises and included in that were “toileting instructions,” which was just funny to have received. I sent a picture over to my husband so we could share a laugh. We have two toddlers, and a stool in the bathroom that I had planned to use, though my instructions said squatty potty. Two days ago, I got a package from amazon. It was a squatty potty, and a mediation pillow to help me get back into my practice. I realize most people wouldn’t be excited, but the gesture and his commitment to helping me take care of my health, especially while going through another pregnancy, was just really kind. Could be the pregnancy hormones too!

  1. I love this! I love seeing spouces be extra tender and thoughtful when the other needs it. Its wholesome. 🥰

My husband recently bought me a shower chair. I had surgery earlier this week, and when I showered for the first time at home he noticed how difficult it was for me. He bought new shampoo and soap and a loofah on a stick, so I don’t have to bend to wash the lower half of my body.

  2. So sweet! I truly believe that marriage gets better and stronger through small gestures in times of struggle and hardships…

Have an easy pregnancy and birth…
