Husband just went to second week of hockey. He really seems to enjoy it and I’m glad he’s spending some time making South Asian Male Friends. Especially one who’s a decade older than him and also in a relationship with a white woman. It helps him realize that he’s not weird and have someone else to talk to.
It’s too early to tell if it’s something permanent but I’m glad he’s finding the space to be “manly” and not feel judged or othered.
He’s been happier as well and more touchy or affectionate with both our girls and with me now. I love it.
Also for some reason after hockey we always does a second shower (I go swimming a few hours before?). Like we don’t mind but I know he knows that I just uses it as an excuse to make out with him.
Then again I did tell him that if we want to have sex three or four times a week now foreplay like kissing, cuddling, hugging, grabbing or touching has to go up so I can’t complain either.
