How to quickly learn about pop culture?

In some ways, I grew up under a rock — I did not listen to the radio or watch much TV. So when people talk about celebrities, TV shows, pop artists, etc., they’re often shocked by how little I know and I end up feeling left-out / embarrassed. What is the fastest way to brush up my knowledge, other than watching hours of TV? In situations like this, I rely on YouTube, but I was not able to find a video like “Crash Course on Celebrities” — please let me know if you find something like that 🙂

I should also add that I DO watch some TV and I DO listen to music, but I’ve always focused on depth instead of breadth — I really focus in on the artists/show that I really like. A crash course or broad TLDR would help me find more celebrities that I vibe with and dive deeper into.
