Hello, I am 19 and currently, in college in the US, I have just transferred to a new school which involves meeting new people and making friends. I don’t know the reason for posting this, not looking for answers necessarily, but maybe just a place for me to talk about it. I know exactly what I have to do to meet new people, I’ve been here for about a week and have barely talked to anyone. I need to go out and have the initiative myself to do things to meet people. I’ve always been kind of a shy and laid-back person but recently I’ve tried my hardest to gain experience talking to people. this involves just having conversations with random people. I don’t know what my problem is right now with talking to people but for some reason I just cant do it.
