I’ve(25m) had several relationship and plenty of experience going on/getting dates. I was living in a small city before, but now live in a smaller community. Using online dating apps is something I’ve done in the past, nothing new to me. But lately I get few matches(still lot of singles), and when I do it seems the girls lose interest immediately. Not much has changed with me except my age. I’m mature, have a job, and and not bad looking. Im posing this because I was talking to one girl, she was game to go out on a date, but schedule conflicted and we had to postpone. I asked to FaceTime and she was weird about it. Now I only get minimal answers. Anyways, it’s the same thing. It goes from hot to cold and I’m back to the drawing board. Too much attention or too little attention, it feels like I can’t figure it out anymore. I’m tired of feeling so defeated by this. What the heck do I change to meet someone?

  1. Not enough information to really draw a conclusion, but if you’re getting a match that isn’t turning into a date, your conversation skills are lacking in some way.

How’s your mood / predisposition towards anxiety?

  3. OLD is a numbers game, so keep at it without getting your feelings involved.

Meanwhile, you can try getting involved in activities where there are women. Not just women to date, but older women looking to match up a nice eligible bachelor with a pretty niece or the daughter of a friend.

Think cooking class, church group, volunteer gardening or volunteering for a female political campaign, etc.But make sure it is something you are actually interested or you won’t enjoy it and stick with it long enough to build their trust.
