4 weeks ago, my flirty ex coworker (20F), replied to a story I (20M) had posted on Instagram and asked me out on a date. Being recently out of a 3 year relationship, I of course, agreed. The date went really well and we ended up going out again. By the date three, she told me that she expects the man to ask to make things official by date 4 or 5…. red flag, I know. I wasn’t ready for that but did so anyway out of respect for her standards, we have now been dating officially for 3 weeks. However, I am now realizing that we have almost NOTHING in common. She’s a very beautiful, kindhearted girl, and she has a lot of ambition, which is something my ex girlfriend had close-to-none of. But as for things that interest me, that’s it. I know I’ll just be leading her on at this point, but I cant figure out a way to break it off without hurting her.

There is no way to end this without hurting her, but she will be fine. And it would hurt her even more if you’d continue to lead her on.
