Does the onus of reaching out again lie with him? For context he asked on the date but I was the one making an excuses and asking for a reschedule. He said he’ll be busy the coming week but he was very much open the same day. I was then okay to meet the very day. At the last minute he calls me up to tell me he got something urgent and how sorry he was. I was super chill about it. He said he’ll try to make it the next day if possible otherwise I should assume he just got busy.
It has been multiple days. But he hasn’t reached out since….. why??

He’s no longer interested.
He either found someone else or he’s busy. If you want you can reach out, but usually no response is a response
