So was texting an old coworker and trying to get to know him. The conversation was about video games and I remember another coworker (who’s friends with this guy) saying so and so is finally streaming and wanted him to add him on discord. When I ask if so and streams and said no and that he hates cameras. Why would he lie about that?

Because he doesn’t want you to watch his streams, maybe. Because if people from work are watching what he does during his free time, it’s awkward.
