Me and my roommate just moved to a new area without knowing many people straight out of college after meeting through Facebook. He’s managed to reconnect with a couple friends and make some new ones but I haven’t been as successful.
He usually goes out every weekend to hang out with them and doesn’t usually invite me or anything, but will openly talk to me about it and even said that he has a friend who wants to meet me. He also knows I’ve been struggling socially and has some of the same feelings himself.
I just met this guy a couple months ago but we get along pretty well. I’m just nervous about his response if I’m like “hey… i want to be your friend and not just your roommate and i want to meet some of these people you keep telling me about.” Like there has to be a reason he didn’t invite me ever right? Ugh. Moving to a new place fucking sucks
