what was it like when you suddenly found out you were going to be father?

1. I paced around the house for an hour saying oh my god with my hands in the air. I was super excited and scared as hell.

2. I jumped on her! I was over the moon excited.

3. It is hard to explain the feeling of happiness and it is eclipsed 10 fold when the baby is delivered. When that little baby touches you for the first time, it changes you. When my baby girl was delivered and they were cleaning her. She grabbed my pinky, it was the best single moment in my life. I can close my eyes and it is right there. It is a very powerful feeling.

4. I honestly didn’t care too much. I was a bit concerned she was suppose to be on birth control. But figured she just lied to me. It happens.

5. A mixture of scared and excited. I’m currently stepdad to her kids from a previous relationship but I’ve never had kids of my own. Still waiting for it to “pop” out, but really excited to finally be a “proper” dad
