What do you eat if you’re on a gluten free, dairy free diet?

  1. I have celiac

Gluten free really isn’t that difficult there are tons of recipes for just about everything gluten free.

However I tend to stick with just meat and vegetables/ fruit.

There are also tons of alternatives to dairy.

  2. Rice, veggies, potatoes, meat, eggs, fruits, beans, hummus, corn ( grits, tortillas, chips), oats (certified gluten free), good fats like coconut, olive, animal, avocado. There are many options still, even without adding in substitutes (which are getting better but can pricey)!

  3. you can mostly just swap out your flour and there aren’t many restrictions anymore.

in terms of dairy, there are TONS of plant based milks, yoghurts etc. and for butter, you can just use margarine. hell, there are countless vegan ice creams even.

  4. For breakfast Catalina Crunch, organic juice sweetened corn flakes or Lovebirds cereal with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. BFree rolls or gluten free bread for toast and jam. Super Coffee if I want caffeine but mostly decaf with Nut Pod Paleo creamers. Eggs, bacon, etc.

Meals meat and veggie combos mostly. Hasselback sweet potatoes with turkey chili or honey garlic chicken thighs, veggie meatloaf, turkey lasagna with GF lasagna noodles, honey garlic shrimp on quinoa, grilled chops with roasting vegetables, Paleo orange chicken stir fry are just some examples.

  5. I can’t have gluten or dairy, and it’s really no big deal. There are a boatload of gluten free products that are every bit as good at the traditional ones.

Google gluten free dairy free recipes, and you’ll get thousands of results.

  6. These days there’s so many free from options that you can just replicate a meal that would have had gluten and dairy in it.

  7. IME, most Asian dishes are dairy free and gluten free.

You can have a lot of delicious Asian food

  8. I’m allergic to the top 8 food allergens and then some. I eat poultry, oats, grains, fruit, and vegetables. I make a lot of bowls-like rice, ground turkey, squash, and zucchini for instance, or I’ll have some brown rice pasta mixed with spinach. My snacks are really limited, but if you can have corn and potato products, there are some gluten free dairy free snacks available at stores like Whole Foods or Sprouts if you are in the US. Salted rice cakes are a staple for me. Lundenberg rice cakes are the best brand of rice cakes imo, and a company called The Gluten Free Bar has a few flavors of protein bars that are gluten and dairy free.

  9. My time to shine!! I cook every kind of ‘normal’ food and just substitute GF & DF. Make big batches to freeze. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies.

  10. I find that some Instagram accounts have been super helpful for ideas, if that’s what you’re looking for
