I’ve been dating my LDR girlfriend for about 6 months, and it’s been bothering me that I may not be fulfilling her. We don’t really have sex much because of the distance, but we give each other oral every time I visit her, which is around every month or so. I’ve realized that I like being submissive more than I like being dominant, and she tends to be the more dominant one. She wants me to be more assertive/dominant sometimes, but she says she likes being in control, too. I’ve asked her if it bothers her that she’s always the one in control, and she said no, but that it would only bother her if she was always the only one in control. I don’t really get anything out of being dominant, and I find it hard to do so because I don’t really enjoy it at all and I’m not very good at doing it, either. Are we incompatible, or is there something I can do about this?
