My (27M) first post on Reddit! Soon I’m going to fly thousands of miles to meet and spend a few days with a woman I like very much. I just want this to be a really great time for us. I want to surprise her with a few gestures and one of the things I wanted to do was gift her some cheese. (Who doesn’t like cheese). There are no travel restrictions on hard cheeses and she likes sharp cheese. So does anyone know a good sharp hard cheese, preferably something you wouldn’t see everyday that travels well? And would it be appreciated, would this be a weird gesture?

Anyone with dairy intolerance, but not her as she likes ‘sharp cheese’.
She might enjoy a ‘variety package’ of assorted cheeses.

You may fascinate her by giving her a piece of cheese
