Tri tip au jus on Dutch crunch
marionberry pie
State: MN
Dish: Revenge
Why: It’s best served cold
Deep fried walleye with a baked potato and coleslaw. Why, cause tater tot hotdish is for church potlucks.
Literally anything but with French fries on it.
Scrapple, fried egg, and cheese on toast, SPK.
Also, cheesesteaks. Duh.
Virginia: game pie. It was a favorite dish in colonial times and it is crazy decadent and rich. On a cold winter night, it will warm your bones.
Anything texmex or brisket
Smoked salmon
Maine: whole lobster
Indiana: Huge pork tenderloin sandwich
Rhode Island: fried italian style calamari with the balsamic reduction sauce and hot peppers
Anything deep fried and from deep under the waves.
Beer brats and fried cheese curds.
California: avocados on anything, especially salads; breakfast burritos, street tacos
Green chili
Sonoran hot dog or chimichanga
Hot brown probably.
Pecan Pie
It’s Apple pie. While it was called New England Style Apple pie, I think my Massachusetts can claim it — and any other New England state can claim it too.
And Clam Chowdah.
(There’s a reason we were call pie-eaters. Southerners just weren’t into pies)
Bourbon balls
Mission style burrito.
Seattle style teriyaki because [it was invented in Seattle](https://curiocity.com/seattle-teriyaki-history/). Or fusion sushi – either a [Seattle roll](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_roll), or a crunchy Seattle roll: a tempura style sushi roll with salmon, avocado, and cream cheese topped with sweet aioli and soy sauce glaze.
Pulled pork with both vinegar and tomato based bbq sauces, or that one sauce that does both that’s also really good with a side of hush puppies and a Cheerwine
Pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel, saltpepperketchup
Fry sauce. It’s amazing and is the only good food to come out of Utah. The rest of the shit that’s come out of here is stuff like shredded carrots in green jello.
Iowa- A loose meat sandwich.
Nebraska- An original Runza sandwich.
Pizza or wings
Corn on the cob
Ohio
