This probably differs by gender but it’s my random question for the day. I lost count of my rejections after 20 or so, I think I should be in the 40s by now but I gave up counting.
I’ve asked similar questions before and gotten wildly different answers, but I guess I like to keep trying? 🙂 The number of these things (marriages, dates, jobs) tends to differ a lot but I guess the scientist in me is looking for sample sizes.

Well, I rarely ask people out. Like, I’ll chat a lot, a LOT, before I do. Usually they end up asking me out, but when I ask they always say yes, so just once. I think if you ask people straight away without chatting much the odds of them saying yes are a lot lower.
