So, we are finally getting rain after a long dry summer. I’m mentally preparing for floods now..
September started, immediately the mornings got super cold. My coworker sent a picture yesterday morning of his frosted car windows. What I do like about this time of year in Finland though is that you get very dark nights, but everything is still green. It feels very different. Like a Mediterranean type of night, but cold.
Speaking of the Mediterranean though, the Acropolis Rally started yesterday, and it’s a joy to watch. Always been among my favourites, only Rally Finland and Rallye Monte-Carlo rank higher for me. When I was a kid in the early 00s my family and I used to go to Greece for the rally every year. I’d much rather be in Lamia right now than Finland, I’ll tell you that much.
Though I wouldn’t hate to be in Monza this weekend either…
