I (22F) and this guy (22M) have been childhood crushes. We connected over socials and started talking. Eventually dated for a month. It was only texting tho, we didnot even meet.
Then out of the blue, he texted me he doesnt have the same feelings as he used to and he blocked me in EVERYTHING. No contact for four months.
Then he gives a friend request in instagram to my friend and I, and sent me this “Hey, hope you’re doing good. I’m off to the US. Take care” and that’s it.
Why would he want to start texting when he clearly knows I still have feelings for him? Whats going on? Should I act like I have no feelings for him and be indifferent as he is?

Why are you so invested in understanding his childishness? He blocked communication with you out of the blue for 4 months. Then opens back up to send a message he clearly intended to get a response out of you. Just don’t play the game.
The best response is no response. Don’t reward the games with attention. Build up some self-respect for yourself. Why would you entertain someone coming and going as they please? If my own mother blocked me for 4 months, she’d be out of my life.
