Which movie is the epitome of America?

Sure, why not? I’ve eaten alligator and shark.
Neither appeals to me. I had a dog that very much liked kangaroo tail.
I’ve eaten alligator. I believe kangaroo once as a child too at the fair.
Don’t see why not.
Crocodile doesn’t really *sound* appealing though.
I ate alligator once. Thought it was good. I’d probably try kangaroo, too.
I mean, plenty of Americans eat gator and squirrel on the regular. So. Why not kangaroo and crocodile?
I’ve eaten groundhog and raccoon. That’s gourmet by comparison.
Is kangaroo good? I’ve had alligator and liked it. Also Elk, Boar, Venison and Snake, in addition to the usual meats and fish.
I’d try *any* food at least once.
I’ve had crocodile and gator before. They’re both very similar. I think crocodile is a bit more flavorful because it has more sodium or something but they’re pretty interchangeable.
Haven’t had kangaroo but would be open to trying some. Heard it’s somewhere between beef and venison. Which might mean it’s…similar to bison? I’ve had that before.
I have eaten both. The kangaroo was just jerky, but I’d eat both again given the opportunity.
We are an armadillo once on a Boy Scout trip. I don’t think kangaroo or croc would have been a problem.
I’ve had crocodile. Alligator is better.
I’ve never had kangaroo, but I know others who have and said it was good. Personally, zebra and caribou were my favorite wild game when I ate meat.
No. I restricted my meat intake and those don’t fit my criteria.
Some groceries carry kangaroo here, though I wouldn’t call it common. I found ground kangaroo and used it to make a burger recipe I found online. It’s an incredibly lean meat so you need to add something to keep it from drying out.
Otherwise it was kind of unremarkable as meat goes. I’d be interested in trying it again now that I’m a more experienced cook, maybe.
And yeah, I’ve had gator so I wouldn’t have an issue with crocodile.
I would. I’ve eaten alligator. It tasted like chicken.
Sure would
I’ve eaten alligator.
I’ve had alligator before, and I know Kangaroo is a pretty common meat in Australia, so I guess I would to both.
I’ve eaten alligator, so I don’t see why I wouldn’t eat crocodile.
Probably, if you get hungry you eat what is there. I would be a bit concerned about cooking it properly though.
Yeah
Sure. I’ve had alligators bunch of times.
I have had kangaroo steak. Very lean so it’s easy to over cook. And I have had alligator too. The only game I really don’t care for is bear because of how greasy it is but I am willing to try just about any food once.
Kangaroo at a BBQ? Absolutely. Crocodile? I’ve tried it once, but don’t really remember it.
I’ve tried alligator, so may as well try crocodile.
No reason not to try kangaroo, either.
I’ve eaten alligator and kangaroo.
No crocodile though.
The alligator and kangaroo were kind of one off occasions though. It isn’t like I have had them with any kind of regularity at all.
Both are difficult to source from where I am. I’ve had alligator though. Is crocodile much different?
As for would I? Of course, assuming proper sourcing. 🙂
I have eaten alligator, I find it meh. If you can find it Elk is the best red meat I’ve ever had in my life.
I wouldn’t go actively seeking it out, but if someone served it to me I’d try it.
I’ve had kangaroo and alligator, so why not?
No probably not. I’ve had alligator and it wasn’t great, I assume crocodile is similar. Kangaroos are too cute for me to eat.
If it was right in front of me and offered, why not. I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it though.
