Soft multi grain bread, too much salted butter, too much smoked streaky bacon cooked so it’s just got some crisp to it but still floppy, brown sauce.

  1. The cheapest bread you can find, smoked bacon cooked til it’s a bit crisp on the edges, no butter but mop the bread in the bacon fat in the pan, and both red and brown sauce.

  2. I like to toast my bread. I also like a bit of colmans English mustard on the top, then the bacon, topped with an egg and a shitload of brown sauce and a twist of freshly ground black pepper. FFS, might have to go and get some bacon now…

  3. Black pepper is essential.

I used to work in a little market caff and the cleaning guy would always have a bacon, fried mushroom and fried egg baguette. Messy as hell but oh my god it’s good.

  4. Mine has to be:

Medium sliced Tiger bread from Sainsburys

    Streaky Bacon

    Iceberg lettuce

    Sea salted butter

    Reggae reggae sauce

  5. Soft white bap, at least three slices of bacon, topped with a fried egg and brown sauce – PERFECTION!!!😋😋😋

  6. Walk past bacon in the supermarket, buy peanut butter and bananas instead, make sandwiches with peanut butter and bananas

  7. Yesterday, my mum divulged that one of my aunts puts vinegar on her bacon sandwiches. I have never heard of this and don’t think I’ll try it.

Anyone else do this? Or care to try it and report back?

  8. Middle or back bacon fried. White bread lightly fried one side each slice in bacon fat. Constructed with fried side inward. Salad cream drizzled copiously onto the bacon.

  9. I use the nice Warburton’s bread in the paper bags.

6 rashers of thick smoked back bacon.

    Sharp cheddar cheese

    Thinly sliced spring onion

Either brown sauce or if I have it Caesar dressing.

  10. First get a ripe avocado and smash it in a bowl with some squeezed lemon…

…nah, I like my bacon grilled, 3 rashers of butchers bacon, it’s plenty thick enough. White Warburtons toastie with butter, and some English mustard.

  11. Just about to have this for lunch…

Unsmoked, dry cured bacon x 4, toasted panini, butter, camembert and peri peri sauce.

  12. Seeded Batch
    Streaky bacon rashers
    Fried egg
    Reggae reggae sauce
    Salted butter

Less exotically, white Warburton’s toastie loaf. Anchor butter. Tommy sauce.

  13. Warbies white bread, 3 x rashers unsmoked bacon per sarnie- cooked until fat is crispy, slightly salted lurpak, ketchup

  14. Thick white bread. Butter. A minimum of 3x smoked streaky bacon rashers, done in the oven for optimal crispiness. Grated cheddar cheese. HP sauce, or maybe BBQ if I’m feeling cheeky.

  15. Crispy bacon, a sliced boiled egg(just a smidge runny), then melt cheese over it. Add whatever sauce you’re I to, I can wholly recommend Ballymaloe Relish. Unreal.

  16. Any bread – buttered

    Minimum 4 rashers of bacon

Any combination of sausage, egg and cheese

Ketchup or BBQ sauce – optional

  17. I’m quite into a hot blt at the moment. One of those baguette things that you finish cooking in the oven, mayo instead of butter, then the L and the T, and then hot crispy bacon. A tearoom on just eat make them just like that and they charge the max £2.49 delivery and I don’t even care. Totally worth the extra £1.

  18. Based on other comments I’m going to get downvoted for this, but I love my bacon sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with organic grass fed salted butter with a dollop of ketchup 🤤

  19. Doorstop thick white bread. Buttered, then fried in the pan the bacon was cooked in. Red sauce on one side, brown on the other. Best of both worlds.

  20. Two rashers of dry cure smoked back bacon, two thin slices of white bread, fried on one side in the bacon fat. Some chipotle salsa, a few rings of sliced brined jalapeños and a few blobs of sour cream. The fried sides of the bread should be on the interior, delicious. In fact I’m going to make one right now…

  21. Bacon cooked in the oven, just converted from a lifelong frying pan guy.

Regular white bread. And for any of my northern brethren… chop sauce.
