I’m 12 weeks pregnant and I am somewhat sexually active with my partner. We had sex a while ago and when finished I found several blood spots on the sheets and on my underwear. (this is our first time after getting pregnant. not sure if that had anything to do with it.) It only lasted a few minutes. Light pink bleeding just when I wiped, nothing else. No cramps or anything.
This is my second pregnancy and I never bled with my first.
Doctor told my placenta was in a normal place. Can it move or damage during sex?
Should I be worried? Would love some advice.

If you have fears about your pregnancy, book an appointment with your doctor.
When I was pregnant I had what they called a “friable cervix” which just meant that it was easily irritated and could sometimes bleed. It didn’t impact the pregnancy in any way though.
This is to be expected and totally normal. It’s safe to have sex unless indicated otherwise by your health professional.
