  1. Heathen.

The answer is 10am on a Sunday, however I personally am too much of a shitebag to do it before 11am!

  2. I didn’t fight in 2 world wars for you to be mowing your lawn at 9am, wait till 10 like a real gentleman.

  3. Isn’t this a skewed sample. The ones likely to be upset about it are still asleep and can’t answer the question.

  4. Nope. I’d wait until 10. Like, you *could*, but I’d be considering leaving a mildly worded letter on your car windscreen.

  5. Come on the queen has just died and you want to cut the grass? Have some respect for gods sake /s

  6. I think you are living on the edge on this one. I recall when Diana died a bloke got badly beaten up for washing his car during the period of mourning. Be careful out there.

  7. Yes, maybe get your dog to bark loudly too? If you don’t have one, rile up a neighbour’s.

  8. No this isn’t the correct etiquette.

You must wait until your neighbor does theirs and then you do yours immediately after, providing no other neighbor has just started.
You need to cause the maximum amount of lawn mower noise possible on a quiet Sunday. Then pointlessly pressure wash your patio and bring on more weeds as you scatter the seeds of dismal garden keeping.
Seriously don’t pressure wash a patio, you’ll just blast the sand or mortar away and make it easier for weeds. Just pour salt water over it and keep the water away from the grass edge and any borders and you’ll be weed free.

  9. I am a late sleeper 90% of days owing to my work schedule and even I think 9am is fine. Fuck them. If I can sleep through DIY, road noise and bin men every other day, folk can endure a lawnmower at 9am on a sunday.

  10. Yeah sure dude, I wouldn’t mind if you cut your grass at 7am, go for it!!

I mean I live nowhere near you so I don’t mind at all 😀

  11. I mean 10am is polite. After 9am is technically OK, but you’ll be a ‘we ride at dawn’ white New Balance wearing dad type

  12. I’m just amazed you still have a lawn after this summer. All we have is a patch of clover and other weeds. Looks lovely and green from a distance though.

I say go for it whenever you feel like it. Just to show off you still have a lawn to mow!
