I (19f) know a guy (19) and have been talking to him for quite some time, around 9 months. We’ve seen each other 4-5 times and definitely at this point it’s more of a friend kind of vibe, which I’m cool with. I’ve seen him on hinge so I think we’re both cool with being friends as we get along well.
We both have really similar interests, and I recently won a competition with the prize being something that I think he would really like. It’s a nice fancy set of paper, and he’s an aspiring author so I thought it would be nice to give it to him.
Is it weird if I do this? Does it send the wrong message?

Difficult, since you both met on a dating app and he might misinterpret a gift. It depends on your relationship and if he really isn’t interested in a romantic way. Either way it’s a nice idea, but the possibility that he could misinterpret it is there. But tbh I would do it anyway. If he’s just a friend, he’ll appreciate the thought and if not, he’ll let you know he’s still thinking about you romantically and it’s better to know and tell him what you really think
