I go to a boarding school that doesn’t allow phones during the day, as such nearly every single student wears a watch. I’ve never worn a watch but I brought one anyway, and I’ve tried wearing it but it feels weird throughout the day. My roommate says eventually you will never NOT want to wear it, how long does it take to get use to wearing a watch?

  1. I wore a watch from the time I was like 10 until I was in my late 20s. Not sure how long I needed to get accustomed to, maybe a few weeks, but I needed months to get use to not wearing it.

  2. Is yours too tight? Or made of some uncomfortable material? Mine has neoprene band, and I can barely feel it. Timex Ironman.

  3. It takes longer than I was willing to put up with it, so now I have a pocket watch! It’s more comfortable (I hardly feel it) and looks much cooler too.
