What is the most important ending you’ve experienced in your life?

  1. The ending of my grandpas life. He was the best man I knew, the best grandpa, the nicest person I’ve ever known. He always had a smile and even tho he was suffering from muscular dystrophy he always found a way to hug us. He even found a way to squeeze my hand one last time.

He surrounded himself with family all of his life so of course I wanted to be with him while he took his last breath. Me, my mom and grandma were all there for 3 days straight.

  2. The love of my life passing away, it was the end of a long, difficult battle that he couldn’t overcome, his wonderful mind was still vibrant even as his body wasted away, I miss him every day.

  3. The ending of living with my parents. I m still deciding whether I want them in my life.

  4. Broke up with a crap ex and spent the next year traveling to a new city every month for a year. One of the best years of my life.

  5. Death of close friend. It aged me beyond my years and while my friends care about me deeply, none of them can truly relate

  6. I just had a dating relationship end two days ago. He was honest and direct, time me that he’s realized he wasn’t ready for what I wanted and thought it best that we stopped hooking up/fooling around. He didn’t drag things out or string me along, he didn’t ghost me or dangle the “maybe we can try again sometime” carrot.

It feels weird to have the recent end of a shortlived relationship be the most important ending, but I feel like this demonstrated what a breakup SHOULD be like. There’s no easy way to go about it, but I feel like this was the best way it could happen
