  1. Play video games, read, do stuff around my house, take care of my animals, go to the gym, etc.

  2. This is my life right now as a sahm. I usually work on my hobbies- read, garden, listen to music, exercise, play my musical instrument.

  3. As a woman who is unlearning, learning and relearning I try to spend time with myself as much as possible. Along with that I read and research about the women in the past, some questioned the Patriarchy and some rebelled against it, some fought for education while some fought to educate. I also like to go on walks alone, eat good food, learn new things, the list goes on

  4. Get a hobby. I have… like a lot of them.. hobbies are easier than friends, but friends are usually cheaper than hobbies. Either way, you could be sleeping… and isn’t that REALLY what you want to do? It’s what I would prefer to do.

  5. I do one of the hundred things on my “when I have time” list, such as sewing, buying a video game on my wishlist and then playing it, repotting my succulents, knitting, crocheting, organizing my office, rewatching favorite TV shows, going out for Thai food, etc.

  6. Revel in it. Sit on the couch and watch something and knit. Read. Cook meals to freeze. Sleep. Daydrink. Play videogames. Garden. Go for a walk or run. Go for a hike. Just enjoy being with myself.

  7. I focus on my personal hobbies, exercise or read a book. Sometimes I go to a cafe alone, if I want to.

  8. Do housework, do schoolwork, do some art, eat, sleep, catch up on my Asian dramas, study, go workout, go shoot around, go shopping, walk the dog, etc etc

  9. I read and listen to music. But lately, I’ve been watching Orange is the New Black. I didn’t see it when it first aired.

I also maintain friendships through letters.

  10. I either workout (I have a plan in place with my physical therapist), watch tv/movies by myself, enjoy a snack if I’m hungry, play games on my computer, or I will look online at possible classes I can take. I’m a premium member of Coursera and they have a lot of great classes available (some take only a few weeks to complete at most) that can hold my interest for a significant amount of time.

  11. Start a project. Catch up on stuff. Get into a good book. Go to an outdoor market and walk around. Hit the gym.
