I am bisexual and I didn’t “know” it until the past couple years. There was a girl in my choir in high school who I thought was super beautiful and I wanted to be around her all the time.
I wish I asked to kiss her back then so that I could have tried to express how I felt. Also it would have helped me get out of my glass closet much sooner.
I have a few that got away. I can’t think of anything I would do differently, because I appreciate what I’ve experienced and who I was then. And us not working out is OK – some of that bittersweet feeling is one of the beautiful things about being alive.
I couldn’t do anything because we were in high school. His family was moving to a different state. I was devastated.
