There is a girl on TikTok (who is rather smaller), but she came across as completely sympathetic to me has the same interests and is also very beautiful
oh and i also found her on Instagram and we had some contact on TikTok, so we wrote a little bit etc. i would like to message her (via Instagram since you can’t message her on TikTok) but I don’t know how
im usually someone who doesn’t really have a problem conversing with people, but I’ve never just Instagrammed a girl like that.
What should I do? Any approaches on how to text a person for the first time? Wait for a story and start a conversation–> how can you keep the contact alive etc?

Just say hello, and then immediately give an excuse for why you messaged her. Mention something that relates to both of you from your past conversations, then branch our your conversation from there. It’s mostly about a smooth entrance from my experience and the less random your DM seems, the better. If you can’t find an excuse, then you might as well start asking how has she been as of late. If she asks why did you message her, be honest in your intentions, that you perhaps found her fun and/or that you’re interested.
