i’ve caught this girl that i do find attractive looking back at me multiple multiple times. i go to the gym with my parents so it was actually my mom that brought this to my attention in the first place. and so for the past 3 or so weeks, everytime this girl shows up we make eye contact at least a couple times and she immediately looks away.

i obviously don’t know this girl so i’m just guessing here but she doesn’t really strike me as the “shy type” or anything so i’m not sure if the reason she’s looking at me is attraction.

I’m also half a dumbass when it comes to social queues or socializing in general so i’m not really sure on what to do in this situation. i’m not asking for dating advice just what this could possibly mean and how you guys would approach this situation.

    Say hi or ask if you can work in on a machine she’s using and spark a conversation about it. “Nothing quite like leg curls to get the quads going, am I right?”

  3. the fastest way to ruin a chance like this is to automatically assume anything either way

    if you don’t take a chance you’ll never know. but if you come on too aggressively it’s a red flag

    my advice is to start a convo over something random. accidentally leave a water bottle in her area and be like whoops i forgot this!! (please someone give a better example but you get the idea)

    and that time you can just leave it at the water bottle convo. next time you’re both at the gym, a small wave or smile

    just take it slow and it might happen, if not you can’t be accused of coming on too fast

  4. Sometimes your brain automatically assumes other person is looking at you when you are the one looking at them and they respond to your gaze.

    I know it feels crazy. But if she breaks eye point instantly she is not interested.
