I’m a people person and a great listener. It’s one of the qualities that has allowed me to excel in my profession. However, when I realize I’m looking into someone’s eyes, and they’re looking into mine too, I freak out internally. It’s so uncomfortable that it physically hurts. I try to push through but usually end up taking turns looking at the sky behind them or their outfit, and then back to the eyes. I have ADHD & PTSD, and am not sure if that’s part of it. Anyone relate? Any tips/ tricks?

  1. I can relate with this, I usually get super uncomfortable about eye contact with people and I realised this long time ago people would say it seems like I look “past” them. But I have tried to manage to keep my eyes on their face now, like I would look at the forehead or sides of face. That has helped me tho.
