I’m in my 30’s the guy I’m seeing is super masculine, borderline bro-ey. He makes me feel like a little girl/child being around him even though I’m a full grown adult. I feel really soft, want him to do everything for me/take care of me, etc.

Is this because of the intense masculine energy? I want to understand why has this impact!!

  1. I think this is more of a you thing, rather than the “intense male energy” you’re describing. Everyone will react differently to other people’s demeanours. Maybe this is just how you feel/react to having a traditionally masculine partner.

It sounds like your behavior is influencing how he treats you a bit. If you’re codependent with this guy then maybe he thinks he needs to step up and act like your guardian and “treat you like a little girl”.

If that’s not what you want them to do then maybe you should take a look at what you can change with your behavior and see what you should avoid. If he keeps acting like this then you should talk about it.

  3. I’m not sure why that is what you want, because it describes a very one sided relationship where he does everything and you put in considerably less effort.

  4. It’s a very good sign when a man brings out your feminine energy.

When it happens to me it means I feel safe and relaxed in his presence, and I’m happy to let him take the lead.

  5. To me it just seems as if you feel safe with him. I’d only be “soft” with someone I’m safe with.

  6. This is a womens natural state when presented with masculine energy. This whole ‘boss babe’ culture thats turns women masculine because of feminism, is why it probably caught you off guard.
