Need advice

Im sort of new to this stuff (also sorry if im breaking any rules i overlooked) but i need some help

I recently met a girl at my university. She is nice and interesting and we have a lot of similar interests.

I successfully got her number and have been trying to organise a date with her for a couple weeks. I havent over stepped and it started off well. Initially she seemed keen to meet up but we also live far from eachother and she hangs out with a different group of friends i am not apart of when at uni. making things difficult. i want to take her on a coffee date but im not sure if she is interested anymore. She became sic recently and i didnt see her for a week or two.

I like her and want to know if she is still interested. we still text but she doesnt respond frequently (her phone is broken though so theres that).

I just dont want to keep asking her and she has said herself that she is shy and has a problem with saying no which makes me uncomfortable because i dont want her to feel pressured. I am ok with her not wanting a date or anything. I try my best to be interesting and to talk to her at Uni, which she is fine to talk to me at uni, we have some good conversation.
