As the title explains, I started doing baby voice as a joke and my bf soon followed, now we do it all the time. I just wanted to know if anyone else does this in their relationship. We don’t go full baby, but more like (🥺 👉🏽👈🏽) this vibe.. if you know what I mean. Obviously we don’t do it in public, but I just wanted to see if anyone else does this or if we should jump into an active volcano for being cringe lmao.

  1. Yep, I think everyone does at some point lol. It’s normal.

I heard my brother in law do it with his wife and was like **noooo, not in public**

  2. I’m pretty sure if anyone saw the way my husband and I talk to our dog around the clock, they’d never speak to us again.

  3. My wife and I use other accents/voices all throughout the day just about every day, but usually only around each other and the kids. We love it. But, never during sex. That could cause problems unless you’re into that. Lol@ full baby. That’s just hilarious. Once you go full baby there’s no coming back. Haha

  4. My wife and I have been together for 14 years and we’ve never done this. But that doesn’t matter. As long as you two are comfortable, there’s no issue here. I’m more confused by the emojis. What vibe is that??

  5. My boyfriend and I “UwU” at each other all the time. We do occasionally try to get away with it in public as well and try to not break down laughing. As long as it’s not bothering either of you it’s harmless fun.

  6. Me(30m) my girl (42f) do it all the time it’s normal. Playfulness silliness is good in a relationship imo

  7. i used to BAG on people if i heard them baby talking out in public! i always said NOT ME!! then i fell in love and now we baby talk more than we normal talk 😂 i love all the silly names we come up for each other and it melts my wittle soul everyday lol

  8. We ABSOLUTELY do and sometimes we have “slips” in public. It’s an affectionate way to communicate with each other that’s also dumb and silly, we go full grug-mode and talk to each other like cavemen. The key is pretending like you’re two halves of a full adult in public.

  9. Also in this, and it got so bad at one point I almost talked to my friends like it when she wasn’t even around. Shits tough

  10. I still do this with my husband, obviously not in public 😂. I think its a pretty normal thing.

  11. My wife and I and our friends starting using southern accents because it was funny. We’re from California. It went on for a long time, and still occasionally resurfaces.

What I’m saying is y’all need to replace the baby talk with a southern accent sug’.

  12. It’s a good thing, apparently. I read something a while ago that said when couples do this, it’s because their inner child feels safe with the other person. So congrats on having a nurturing relationship!
