What cologne do y’all use?

  1. Cremo Palo Santo is absolutely amazing, and cheep for such a large bottle. It’s very unique and ide be hard pressed to find a lady who doesn’t like it. I get compliments all the time. Upon initial spray it smells heavy with alcohol, but once that evaporates, it’s sooooo good. You kind find it at target

  2. Honestly, whatever the wife buys me to wear. If she likes it well enough to buy then it works for me. Unless, maybe she buys it to keep other women repelled .. hmm….

  3. Anything Hermes is amazing.
Terre d’hermes is a classic but recently I’ve seriously taken to the Hermes H24 as a light everyday fragrance

  4. L’Homme

Edit: well it’s nice to see this one is appreciated. It’s the only one I know or have worn. I know nothing about cologne (and yes, it is YSL, didn’t know anyone else made a cologne called “L’Homme”). It was a gift and then I decided I would keep buying it forever.

  5. Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male – My expensive option

ARMAF Club De Nuit – my cheap option and it is a clone of Creed Aventus (lasts for hours (8+) and gets the most compliments ironically)-

  6. I usually cycle between three colognes.

Cuba Gold (I use this when I travel or at night)

Polo Sport (More of a Spring/Summer cologne)

Hugo Boss The Scent (usually a Fall/Winter cologne)

  7. real talk. smell is an incredibly important thing, for whomever you’re trying to attract. i used to never wear cologne, but i got into it and i get very, very positive feedback from women. all the time. shit, i even get it from men in the elevator and what not.

i went to le labo, on the pricey side and tried a bunch til i found the right scent for me and my skin. really changes the game and i really encourage yall to do this, it’s an excellent add-on.

edit: pro tip, buy small samples and only use those until you find your jam. cologne interacts with your skin, oils, etc. and will shift overtime as its on you. then buy the bottle. i tested a couple on nights out, then made my choice.

  8. Dolce & gabbana light blue.
Got it as a gift and has been using it everytime i go out, very nice cologne.

  9. Luna Rosa black by Prada. I get compliments from every, including guys. It’s a huge turn on for the wife so that’s a plus

  10. The question is, how does everyone apply it? Spray and walk through? Spray directly onto the wrists? What’s everyone’s method?

  11. I bought a small bottle of aventus creed because it smells so damn good but it’s expensive AF! So I did some research and found that Armaf “Club de Nuit intense man” was supposedly a near identical clone that costs like %25 of the price) so I tried it. My god, is it very close, and in a party with alcohol and other smells I doubt anyone can even tell. I’ve even had people ask me what the bottle is.

So that’s what I use. The clone also lasts way longer. Not that Aventus Creed doesn’t last, it a good 8 hours easy. But this Armaf clone is just never ending. I have woken up the next day and still have that nice smell on me. I highly recommend.

I also use Ferragamo black to change up
and Nuit de l’homme for intimate dates (it’s also the most expensive actual bottle I use, and use sparingly).

I have a collection of other colognes, but they are rarely used.

  12. 1. Le labo Santal 33 ( my ATF)
    2. YSL La nuit del homme
    3. Bleu de chanel
    4. Dior sauvage
    5. Hugo boss no 9

  13. Damn, didn’t expect to see so many pricey names here, feel a little cheap, but I use the basic Old Spice

15 dollars a bottle, and the first time I wore it to work I had some random dude make a point of coming back after walking away to tell me that I smelled nice

  14. Shoulda been “how old are you, where do you live, and what cologne do you use”

I live in the West and nobody around here wears the stuff. I went to school in the East (USA) and it was hard to ride in an elevator.
