3. If you love him, you’re compatible. If you don’t share interests, that’s a whole other thing you should worry about. If that’s the case, try out his interests and see if you like them. You said you love him so I’m guessing you’re more than willing to try if you haven’t already. I don’t think this is a big problem.

   Just do it. The longer you wait, the more painful it is. You could do the whole “It’s not you. It’s me” thing with your own words, but it’s ok to do it anyway you want. The really wrong way to do it is to stay in the relationship for a long time, have kids, get really unhappy and then divorce with anger.
