My boyfriend and I are gonna have sex when he gets back from his vacation and I was wondering if you can get pregnant if you have sex with a condom? Like is it possible still

  1. Sounds like you’re too young to be intimate with someone. Yes, you can still get pregnant with a condom or even birth control. Small chance but still very possible.

  2. Yes, it’s possible. If used properly, the odds of pregnancy are extremely small . . . but it’s still possible.

  3. When used correctly every time you have sex, male condoms are 98% effective. This means 2 out of 100 people will become pregnant in 1 year when male condoms are used as contraception.

Fewer than 1 in 100 women will get pregnant in a year when using the combined pill correctly. Typical use: around 91% effective.

  4. Condoms are about 85% effective. Lots of things can go wrong with them. If you want a better method of birth control I would suggest hormones (pill, etc.) or an IUD.

  5. You can. Any time you have sex you risk pregnancy. You can reduce this significantly by using multiple forms of non-conflicting contraception and protection however.

Birth control pills or IUDs or contraceptive rods + condoms are the most common group.

Just make sure you know what works for you. Birth control already makes significant changes to hormones, and can on occasion fail to work.

  6. Best to use mutiple birth control methods like IUD/the pill and condoms. He can also pull out with the condom on which lowers the chances of pregnancy more.

It is still possible. It’s less likely to get pregnant though

  7. I was gonna say, it sounds like someone made a mistake and is now trying to play it off as product failure now? Whoopsies.

But either way, things happen and birth control can fail. Stay safe and get checked regularly for stds.
