I just realized I have a problem of distancing myself emotionally I’m talking to ppl. I know its normal to distance myself from ppl I don’t like, but even with ppl I do like, my mind turns off and starts distancing, and before I realize it my mind is already in “distanced mode.”
This happens to me everyday, with everything. Even things that I liked. Sports, video games, movies, talking.
Help on how to stop?

Ever read up on attachment theory? Sounds like avoidant attachment type stuff. TBH I still struggle with it too in various ways.
I don’t really have great advice except that understanding it can help make it a little bit more of a choice. And that having friends who model the secure version helps a LOT. (And in general having safe and understanding friends helps a lot)
