Half Venting, Half I Question

So I’ve noticed that I’m pretty good at conversation. When I’m around people I might as well talk to them, like at work. However, I’ve noticed that after a while these people I talk with start trying to get me to do things for them. Like wtf? Just because I talk I’m there to serve their every whim?

And then they get shocked when I don’t. It’s hilarious but also lowers my faith in humanity.
