I’m really nervous about meeting my girlfriend’s parents.

She invited me to meet them at Christmas but I am nervous that they will not like me because I am 16 years older than her and she is 22.

So that is a worry of mine.  But also, I am autistic and haven’t lived fully on my own and need certain social assistance as well some care from my parents because of it, especially compared to her, and I find that to be embarrassing to tell her parents at my age as well. But my gf is austistic too, so maybe her parents will be more understanding therefore.

What do you think?  Should I go in with a different attitude or perhaps take a certain approach in this situation?  Thank you for advice on this.  I really appreciate it.
