Newly single 26F, decided to venture into dating apps for the first time ever. I matched with really good looking guys but now I’m afraid I’ll fall short if we actually meet up. I haven’t dated in 5 years so this is all new to me. I do t even know how to start conversations on the app. I would love to go out and date and get my fix even just hookup but I don’t know how to go about it.

Can’t say anything if it’s about hookups, but if you want some kind of serious relationship, then I’d recommend that you don’t use dating apps until you’re comfortable with being by yourself. Otherwise you could get needy and will rely on them to make you happy. And you will always be worried about whether they like you or not, when the important thing is whether YOU like them or not.
Don’t worry too much! If you have a crush on a guy, go after him. If the guy is nice, try dating him. If you feel bad, stay away from him
