Is he still uncertain after 2 months?

I’ve been seeing this guy for a little over two months now. He is absolutely sweet from planning nice dates to how he treats me. Aside from romantic dates, he’ll also make time to text and call when he can and he’ll make time to talk to me when I’m feeling down (just a few things)– overall, spoils me quite a bit.

However, my concerns are I feel as though we are not progressing as much (as I would like). For example, we haven’t had sex yet and I haven’t been over to his house despite having met his kid (yes, I can confirm he is divorced and is a very great father, so no silly business). I recall us mentioning on our first date that we won’t have sex early on with someone if we’re serious about them, but I feel as though after 2 months, it should happen, no?

I did attempt and I’ve asked him about coming over but he says his house is really messy and he knows I’ll judge him for it (his words) and I can come over once he cleans it. I think his fear of my judgment comes from me telling him early on that I cannot stand messy houses so I understand. But in regard to the intimacy issue, is this something I should be concerned about, or am I just overthinking things?
