Today in Switzerland we vote, as we do every 3 months. [Among others](https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/srb72p/the_swiss_vote_today_whether_to_ban_tobacco_ads/), topics on federal level include whether to ban tobacco ads and animal testing.
Regionally, there are dozens of topics as well, amongst them whether to apply tax cuts or not 😉
After casting our votes, we’re headed to the friendly veggie farmer at Lake Constance to refill our stock.

Good morning *yawn* it is surprisingly sunny this weekend, very pretty. The garden is already full of snowdrops and crocus. I also saw that the broad beans are already poking out of the soil 🥰 we had no luck with them last year, so I am super happy. Any other gardeners around? What are you guys planning for the coming year? Already started some seeds?

Today is the [election for the Federal President](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_German_presidential_election) (the mostly ceremonial head of state). Chances that Frank-Walter Steinmeier _won’t_ get re-elected for a second term are roughly 0.1 %, but still… democracy in progress.
Going to Ikea today, very excited!

This subreddit is very nice. It is remarkable there are so many users yet the discussions are almost universally civil and pleasant. When I am here I feel like I am meeting normal people from other countries rather than some skewed subsection of highly online people that are aggressive when they comment about stuff.
It’s been like 12 years and I still don’t understand the beginning of the music video to Kesha’s Tik Tok. Banger song, but what the hell is the premise? She wakes up in a bathtub, goes downstairs and some family with young kids is eating breakfast, who don’t seem to know who Kesha is, nor does she seem to know them.
So what was she doing sleeping in the bathtub of this random family? Surely it wasn’t because of a house party in this particular house the previous night, since the kids of this family look like they’re like 5-10 years old. Surely it isn’t her family, since they don’t seem to recognise eachother, and there are insert shots of family portraits from that house in the music video and Kesha isn’t present in them.
After over a decade of thinking about this I still haven’t figured out why she is waking up in this random bathtub in this random family’s home. I think this is a plot hole that is not discussed enough.
