Pasta Carbonara
Well people usually tell me that my pasta is pretty damn good. I’ll make some pepper shrimp spaghetti.
Rattlesnake
I’ve had it once and it’s good
I live in arizona so it’s even more impressive if you catch the snake yourself
Angel hair in a clam/white wine sauce sprinkled with Pecorino and Romano cheese.
If the guys are coming over to watch the game, I’m throwing ribs and chicken in the smoker. If it’s a date I’d probably go with chicken marsala w/garlic mashed potatoes and creme brûlée.
Spaghetti. I know that sounds blasphemous but my spaghetti will make you nut.

Fettuccine Alfredo, breadsticks, ceaser salad.
Alternatively, Garlic Shrimp Scampi over rice, garlic toast, garden salad.
I would keep both a red and a white wine available. Depends on what they want.
Desert: Brownie and ice cream during all seasons except fall, Pumpkin bread and whipped cream for fall.
Carbonara. Get a bowl and add 4 eggyolks(for 2 servings), shit ton of parmesan, grinded black pepper, mix. Boil the pasta, strain but keep one glass of hot pasta water. Add whats in the bows to the strained pasta and mix, add water gradually till the wanted sauce consistency. Demolish.
Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese. That’s homemade Spaghetti pasta with a slow cooked 6 hour bolognese made with a good red wine in it.

Its easy tastes fabulous pairs well with meat or without and also pairs well with just about any wine.
Sushi, but using cooked fish instead of raw fish. I always thought sushi was hard to do but it’s super easy and honestly no one ever expects anyone to make sushi so it’s a good surprise. One day I plan to try the raw fish version, but until then use cooked fish, it’s great.
Shepard’s pie. Baked nice and evenly and then give a quick broil to make sure the top layer of the mashed potatoes have a nice crisp.
Butter chicken
I’m off today but if I have to… breaded pork cutlets with a honey butter and Cajon country gravy, tempura fried green beans a la vodka, and funeral potatoes
Spicy Spanish seafood stew. Super easy and delicious
Bacon wrapped chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes, white gravy, garlic green beans, and fresh baked rolls
Grilled beef tenderloin, smashed potatoes, roasted asparagus.

Sesame chicken
Really depends on what meal, the setting, dietary restrictions, and number of attendees
Cajun stir fry with sausage, shrimp, and fresh veggies. And I’ll make enough to feed us for a few days.
Pesto shrimp in oil with angel hair pasta
Chicken nokedli (chicken paprikash w/dumplings) and for dessert, palacsinta (thin pancakes) w/ sugar and cinnamon mixed into cottage cheese or just any kind of jam
Air fryer wings
I’d say just a simple chicken and roasted veggies dinner, simple but you can get super creative with the veggies. The veggies are nice and colourful, the chicken if seasoned right is delicious, and it’s healthy. Maybe thrown in some asparagus on the side or something.
A roast chicken. Butter stuffed under the skin of the breast, rolled and fork stabbed lemon stuffed inside, feet held together with slits in the skin flaps. Outside seasoned with various spices. Roast potatoes and veggies for the side. For dessert, multi grain/seed bread, buttered and toasted in a cast iron skillet for flavor, cherry and/or raspberry jam on top, scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream on top. Tastes similar to a very buttery pie with ice cream on top. Moscato or champagne with dinner.
This is how I eat when feeling ambitious. When feeling lazy, or have to make quick meals for guests, I usually do toasted sandwiches on good bread, with homemade mayonnaise based sauce. Wine is often had. When I’m feeling super lazy, like this morning, I toasted a regular bun in the skillet with butter, then fried up fish sticks and made a fish sandwich with Swiss cheese, tartar sauce, and onion. Had a steak sandwich for breakfast.
I grew up incredibly poor and poorly fed, so I’ve been really trying to find ways to eat better. I’ve just been experimenting in the kitchen for years now. Used to be a cook. I don’t host these days. I just cook really well for myself.
Gnocchi with garlic lemon butter sauce and bruschetta or some poblano con queso chicken tacos and a churro bread pudding. Drinks I’d serve a tequilla and soda water with grapefruit juice or San Pellegrino soda with some prosecco
I’ll make some steaks and if they don’t like it we might have a problem
Something to snack on? Salsa and guacamole. As for a meal, ramen
Spaghetti

…I don’t know how to cook, but I can at least manage that much without messing it up. Not much else, though.

Pop a pizza in the oven, leave it there until it becomes an unedible brick of charcoal, and impress them by how badly I could burn the pizza.
