Im thinking of purchasing one as a birthday gift for a 35 year old male who’s constantly losing his wallet. Any recommendations?

  1. I got a Kenneth Cole Reaction as a gift, they are about 20 bucks. Has lasted me for about 13 years now. Lost the middle piece of plastic where the ID goes a couple of years back, but in terms of comfort and style its been great.

  2. If you want something really nice Bottega Veneta. I have one, and the leather is the best I’ve seen from designer brands. Mine is dark red and patinas nicely. If you want a “no name” wallet since he loses, them Polare makes a nice quality cheap one, you can find them on amazon.

  3. Losing his wallet? No Coach or Burberry for him.

Fossil makes a decent leather wallet that’s affordable and you can get on Amazon or your local Macy’s type place.

FWIW I have found nothing better than a “sailcloth” type wallet. I stopped using leather 20 years ago, and the sailcloth has the slickness I like with ultra-durability. Maybe something different!

  4. You’ve got to try Fox Creek Leather wallets, made in Virginia. Last forever and high quality, about $40

  5. Open Seas Leather Company (formerly Das Offene Meere). They are hand made, with Italian leather, by a U.S. Navy veteran. You can pick what style you want, the color of leather and color of the stitching (hand stitched).

That’s the only wallet I’ll buy now.
