I (15f) have completely forgotten how to make friends, I used to talk all the time in discord…
Is it acceptable to ask a random girl to homecoming whom I barely know?

I never talk to girls. There’s some sort of curse on me where every teacher assigns me seats…

I wouldnt laugh if I didn’t find it funny. I always ask why it’s funny then to make things extra awkward
You could try to just smile at the others’ reactions. Think “nice that they enjoyed that”. It’s a good middle ground between not being fake and not being the odd one out
I mean, my friends’ happiness usually makes me happy, so even if it’s not the funniest joke, I still usually end up at least smiling
Nope. It might be an autistic thing but I really struggle to do that, especially if it’s a stupid, offensive joke. Obviously sometimes I can’t even tell if they’re joking or not, lol
I only Laugh when I feel the urge.
Otherwise I’m an unpaid actor working 24/7
If I like the person and think they’re worth supporting then yeah I’ll help smooth-over a joke that didn’t land. If they’re an asshole or otherwise need some negative feedback I’ll let the joke fall flat.
Nah I don’t
I usually just smile, because most of the time it’s enjoyable to see people laughing. If it’s offensive I won’t smile or laugh because I don’t want them thinking I agree with their mentality, then I try to leave lol
